Anchoring an object to a volume grid
1 Click Home tab ➤ Build panel ➤ Tools drop-down ➤ Content

2 Navigate to Stock Tool Catalog ➤ Parametric Layout & Anchoring
Tools.
3 Select the Volume Anchor tool, and drag it to the workspace.
NOTE Alternatively you can enter VolumeAnchor on the command
line.
4 Enter a (Attach object), and select the object to be anchored.
5 Specify a point on or near a volume in a volume grid.
The object is scaled to fill the entire volume.
6 Press ENTER.
Changing the Position and Size of Objects Anchored to Volumes
Use this procedure to change the position and size of objects anchored to
volumes. You can change the coordinate system and orientation of an object
anchored to a volume. You can also define insertion and size offsets and
indicate whether the object should be resized when the volume is resized.
1 Double-click the anchored object.
