2 Click <Object> tab ➤ General panel ➤ Edit In View
drop-down ➤ Edit In Section .
3 Specify the first and second points for the section line or press
ENTER to change the UCS.
4 Specify the extent of the section.
5 Modify the objects in the section view.
6 Click on the Edit in View toolbar to exit the temporary
section.
7 Save the changes to your drawing.
Editing Objects in a Temporary Elevation View
You can select objects to view and edit in a temporary elevation view. The
elevation view is not persisted after the edits are finished.
1 Select the objects you want to view in an elevation view.
2 Click <Object> tab ➤ General panel ➤ Edit In View
drop-down ➤ Edit In Elevation .
3 Select linework, the face of an object, or a reference point for the
view direction.
4 Specify the extents of the elevation.
5 Modify the objects in the elevation view.
6 Click on the Edit in View toolbar to exit the temporary
elevation.
7 Save the changes to your drawing.

You can select objects to view and edit in a temporary plan view. The plan
view is not persisted after the edits are finished.
1 Select the objects you want to view in a temporary plan view.
2 Click <Object> tab ➤ General panel ➤ Edit In View
