NOTE You can change the location of freestanding railings only. The location of
a railing attached to a stair is defined by the stair.
1 Select the railings you want to relocate, and double-click one of
them.
2 On the Properties palette, click the Design tab, expand Basic, and
expand Location.
3 Enter a value for Rotation.
4 Enter a value for Elevation.
5 Click Additional Information for further location properties:

make the normal of the railing par-
allel to the Z axis: under Normal,
locate the railing on the XY plane
enter 1 for Z, and enter 0 for X
and Y.

and Z.
