Resizing and stabilizing clips
2 Select the clip in the timeline and position the play head over the center of the clip so
you can see the host looking into the camera.
3 In the lower left corner of the viewer, click the tools button.
The viewer toolbar defaults to show the transform controls which are used to scale,
reposition, rotate and flip the clip. You can use the number field in the toolbar or, the
onscreen controls in the viewer. Although the number field appears as a field you type
in,fields like this in DaVinci Resolve can also be used like sliders.
4 On the left side of the viewer toolbar, drag the mouse pointer over the resize number
field until it is around 1.7.
With the frame scaled up, you can use the on screen controls in the viewer to
reposition it so the host’s face is out of the frame.
5 Drag up in the viewer to cut off the faces of the two women and center them in
theframe.
6 Back up the play head and watch the reframed clip.
