Using Curves for Primary ColorCorrections
TIP When you hear the terms tonal values or the tonal range, we are talking
about brightness values.
TIP In the Color page, each clip has its own undo/redo history. That is choosing
Edit > Undo will undo different steps depending on which clip is currently selected.

Like the Primaries bars you can adjust luminance separately from RGB channels. The
end points in the custom curve graph are used to adjust the black and white points.
3 On the right side of the custom curves click the Y button to isolate the luminance channel.
The shadows around the tractor truck should be fairly dark but arguably not completely
black so we will set the black point in the custom curve accordingly.
4 Position the mouse pointer over the control point located in the lower-left corner of the
custom curve graph.
