13.4 UART (option R&S MXO5-K510)
The Universal Asynchronous Receiver/Transmitter UART converts a word of data into
serial data, and vice versa. It is the base of many serial protocols such as RS-232.
Required options and equipment
For performing UART decode measurements, you need the following equipment:

R&S MXO 5 with 2 available channels. The channels can be a combination of the
following:
– Analog channels (C1-C4)
– Logic channels (D0-D15) (requires option R&S MXO5-B1)

Option R&S MXO5-K510
●
Two probes
