Protecting any le from writing
▪ Protect the les or folders
1 While in any of the File pages, select one or more items in one of the external
drives and choose the Protect command from the page menu ( ).
2 When the warning message appears, touch Yes to conrm (or No to cancel).
Choosing this command will protect the selected le(s). If you selected a folder,
all the les it contains will be protected from saving or erasing. The lock icon will
appear next to the le name(s).
▪ Unprotect the les or folders
1 While in any of the File pages, select one or more items in one of the external
drives and choose the Unrotect command from the page menu ( ).
2 When the warning message appears, touch Yes to conrm (or No to cancel).
