The stitching in regions can be converted to line
stitching.
1 Draw a shape, and then select it.
2 Click [Convert Region to Line] in the [Edit]
group on the [Shapes] tab.
The region sew types change to [Running
Stitch].
3 Select the desired line sew type.
For this example, select [Chain Stitch].

Check box selected. Check box cleared.
