Changing the Display Settings
The grid can be displayed or hidden, and how the
grid is displayed as well as its spacing can be
specified.
1 Click the [View] tab.
2 Specify the grid settings.
a with Axes
Select this check box to display the grid
lines.
The grid display differs depending on the
mode.

Drag the slider to specify the grid spacing.
• In Fill/Stamp mode or Motif mode, the
available settings are no grid and 1/64,
1/32, 1/16 and 1/8 of the Design Page
width.
• In Decorative fill mode, the available
settings are no grid and 1/128, 1/64, 1/
32 and 1/16 of the Design Page width.

2 To display the guidelines, select the
[Guideline] check box in the [Guideline]
group. To hide the guidelines, clear the check
box.
3 Click a ruler in the Design Page.

• A guideline is added each time the ruler is
clicked. In addition, up to 100 guidelines each
can be added to the horizontal and vertical
rulers.
• When the [Guideline] check box is cleared, the
guidelines are hidden.
• If the grid is displayed, the guidelines will be
added/moved along the lines of the grid.
