device: sensor: temperature
temperature
Use the temperature command to set the low-critical and high-critical threshold values and tolerance that define the
operational bounds for temperature measurements. The tolerance defines the margin that a temperature measurement must
exceed before triggering another threshold event; the sole setting applies to both the low-critical and high-critical thresholds.
Syntax
temperature threshold {low-critical | high-critical} <decimal-value>
temperature threshold tolerance <decimal-value>
• decimal-value – Specifies the value for the specified threshold or tolerance.
Examples
The following command sets 50 degrees as the low-critical temperature threshold for sensor “E2MTHDI”, associated with
device “PDU123”:
console> device (PDU123)> sensor (E2MTHDI)> temperature threshold low-critical 50
Update complete
The following command sets 3 degrees as the temperature threshold tolerance for sensor “E2MTHDI”, associated with device
“PDU123”:
