snmp-server: set
set enable
Use the set enable command to enable SNMP SETs for the SNMP server entry. Use the no form of the command to disable
SNMP SETs.
Syntax
set enable
no set enable
Examples
The following command enables SNMP SETs for entry “SRVrcvr1”:
console> snmp-server (SRVrcvr1)> set enable
Update complete
The following command disables SNMP SETs for entry “Server ABC”:
console> snmp-server (Server ABC)> no set enable
Update complete
set port
Use the set port command to identify the port number to use when sending an SNMP SET. The default port number for SNMP
SET is 161.
Syntax
set port <port-number>
port-number – Specifies the entry’s port number to use when sending an SNMP SET (Range: 1-65535).
Examples
The following command assigns 161 as the SET port for entry “SRVrcvr1”:
console> snmp-server (SRVrcvr1)> set port 161
Update complete
set test
Use the set test command to execute a test of SNMP SET communications with the SNMP server entry.
Syntax
set test <oid> <value> {string | integer}
oid – Specifies the OID to set on the SNMP server.
value – Specifies the value to be set.
Examples
The following command executes a test of SNMP communications with entry “SRVrcvr1”:
console> snmp-server (SRVrcvr1)> set test 1.3.6.1.4.1.123.1.2.3.4.0 1 integer
