5. CLI Commands
schedule: target-device
target-device
Use the target-device command to specify the device or sensor undergoing the action, as defined by the scheduled action
entry. Note that changing the target device of a scheduled action entry will require re-entering all action parameters; the
parameters associated with the previous target device will be erased. Use the show targets command to display a list of
devices and sensors available for selection as target devices.
Syntax
target-device {<device-name> | <sensor-name>}
device-name – Specifies the new target device associated with the entry.
sensor-name – Specifies the new target sensor associated with the entry.
Examples
The following command sets “Sensor-E2MTDO” as the new target device for scheduled action entry “IndicateHour”:
console> schedule (IndicateHour)> target-device Sensor-E2MTDO
Update complete
show target-device
Use the show target-device command to display the device or sensor undergoing the scheduled action.
Syntax
show target-device
Examples
The following command displays the target device for scheduled action entry “IndicateHour”:
console> schedule (IndicateHour)> show target-device
Sensor-E2MTDO
scp
scp enable
Use the scp enable command to enable Secure Copy (SCP) service. Use the no form of this command to disable the
SCP service. The SCP service can only be enabled if the SSH service is enabled (see ssh command). By default, both SSH
and SCP are enabled. Note that SCP is tied to SFTP; enabling or disabling SCP will automatically enable or disable SFTP,
respectively.
Syntax
scp enable
no scp enable
Examples
The following command disables SCP service:
console> no scp enable
Update complete
Note: Use the “apply network” command to complete the change. This may cause a system
reboot.
