syslog-server: enable
enable
Use the enable command to activate the syslog server entry. Use the no form of this command to disable the entry.
Syntax
enable
no enable
Example
The following command disables entry “Server ABC”:
console> syslog-server (Server ABC)> no enable
Update complete
show enable
Use the show enable command to display the enabled/disabled status for the syslog server.

show enable
Examples
The following command displays the status of entry “Server ABC”:
console> syslog-server (Server ABC)> show enable
enabled
syslog-server: facility
facility
Use the facility command to set the type of program logging the message for the syslog server entry. The list of facilities and
codes is defined by standard RFC-5424. The default facility code for each entry is 7.
Syntax
facility <facility>
• facility – Specifies the facility code for the entry.
Examples
The following command sets 23 as the facility code for entry “SYSsrvr2”:
console> syslog-server (SYSsrvr2)> facility 23
