schedule: recurrence
recurrence
Use the recurrence command to configure how often a scheduled action entry is to be executed.
Syntax
recurrence forever
recurrence count <count>
count – Specifies the number of times that the entry is to be executed (Range: 0-99).
recurrence until <date> <time>
date – Specifies the entry’s ending date, in the format selected using the default date-format or default user date-
format command.
time – Specifies the entry’s ending time, in the format selected using the default time-format or default user time-
format command. If using either the h:mm:ss tt or hh:mm:ss tt time format, use quotes when entering the time (see
Examples).
Examples
The following command sets entry “Weekend Shutdown” to be executed twelve (12) times:
console> schedule (Weekend Shutdown)> recurrence count 12
Update complete
The following command sets entry “Weekend Shutdown” to be executed until 12/1/2020 12:34:56 PM:
console> schedule (Weekend Shutdown)> recurrence until 12/1/2020 “12:34:56 PM”
Update complete
show recurrence
Use the show recurrence command to display the recurrence settings of the scheduled action entry.
Syntax
show recurrence
Examples
The following command displays the recurrence of entry “Weekend Shutdown”:
console> schedule (Weekend Shutdown)> show recurrence
