password-age
Use the password-age command to enter alternate password aging settings for the user entry; the global settings are
configured using the password-policy command. This command is valid only if the global password age override is enabled
using the password-age enable command.
Syntax
password-age {minimum | maximum} <password-age>
password-age – Specifies the number of days associated with the minimum/maximum password age for the entry
(Range: 1-999).
Examples
The following command sets 15 days as the maximum password age for entry “ITadmin1”:
console> user (ITadmin1)> password-age maximum 15
Update complete
password-age enable
Use the password-age enable command to allow override of the global password age settings for the user entry. Use the no
form of this command to return to the global setting.
Syntax
password-age enable
no password-age enable
Examples
The following command allows override of the global password aging settings for entry “ITadmin1”:
console> user (ITadmin1)> password-age enable
Update complete
show password-age
Use the show password-age command to display the password aging override settings for the user entry.
Syntax
show password-age
