sms: contact
contact
Use the contact command to specify the contact information for the entry – either a phone number associated with a
supported carrier or an SMS (email) address associated with an unsupported carrier. Use the show carriers command to
display a list of supported carriers.
Syntax
contact <carrier> <phone-number>
contact <email-address>
• carrier – Specifies the carrier associated with the entry, in abbreviated form.
• email-address – Specifies the SMS email address associated with the entry.
• phone-number – Specifies the phone number associated with the entry.
Examples
The following command sets AT&T phone number 888-555-1234 as the SMS contact information for entry “maryd”:
console> sms (maryd)> contact at&t 888-555-1234
Update complete
The following command sets “[email protected].net” as the SMS contact information for entry “maryd”:
console> sms (maryd)> contact [email protected]
Update complete
show contact
Use the show contact command to display the contact information for the SMS entry.
