log: severity
severity
Use the severity command to set the lowest severity level of items to be recorded in the log. This command applies only to
the Application Log.
Syntax
severity {emergency | alert |critical | error | warning | notice |info | debug | trace}
Examples
The following command sets the Application Log to record items with a severity level of “warning” and higher:
console> log (application)> severity warning
show severity
Use the show severity command to display the selected severity level for Application Log. This command applies only to the
Application Log.

The following command displays the selected severity level for the Application Log:

Use the show command to display current settings for the log. Note that the severity keyword applies only to the Application
Log. The max-size keyword applies only to the Accounting Log and Event Log. The interval, metrics and rollup keywords
apply only to the Data Log.

show [autoexport | interval | max-size | metrics | report | rollup | severity | size]
Examples
The following command displays all settings for the Accounting Log:
console> log (accounting)> show
Auto-export Status : enabled
Auto-export Format : xml
