5. CLI Commands
show name
Use the show name command to display the name entered for the RADIUS server entry.
Syntax
show name
Examples
The following command displays the entry’s name:
console> radius-server (Server XYZ)> show name
Server XYZ
radius-server: password
password
Use the password command to enter a password for the RADIUS-server entry. Two options are available for entering the
password. The first option will prompt the entry of a password followed by a password confirmation, neither of which will be
echoed to the terminal. The second option allows entry of a plain text password on the command line by using the plaintext
keyword.
Syntax
password
password plaintext <password>
password – Specifies the password for the entry, in plain text.
Examples
The following command sets “v3b4n5” as the password for entry “RADsrvr1”:
console> radius-server (RADsrvr1)> password plaintext v3b4n5

radius-server: priority
priority
Use the priority command to set a priority for the RADIUS-server entry. In the case where multiple entries exist, the priority
determines which servers are used first. For the priority value, enter an integer from 1 to 99. Lower numbers have higher
priority.
Syntax
priority <priority>
priority – Specifies the priority level of the entry (Range: 1-99).
Examples
The following command sets 1 (one) as the priority level for entry “RADIUSsrvr1”:
console> radius-server (RADIUSsrvr1)> priority 1
