device: id
id
Use the id command to optionally set a numeric identifier for the device. Use the no form of this command to clear the entry.
Syntax
id <id>
id – Specifies a numerical identifier for the device (Range: 0-65535).
Example
The following command sets “98765” as the numerical identifier for device “PDU-Rack1”:
console> device (PDU-Rack1)> id 98765
Update complete
show id
Use the show id command to display the identifier entered for the device.

show id
