http
http enable
Use the http enable command to enable the HTTP service. Use the no form of this command to disable the HTTP service.
Note that changes to network parameters must be applied using the apply network command for the changes to take effect.
The HTTP service is enabled by default.
Syntax
http enable
no http enable
Examples
The following command disables the HTTP service:
console> no http enable
Update complete
NOTE: Use the “apply network” command to complete the change. This may cause a system
reboot.
http port
Use the http port command to set the port number to use for the HTTP service. The default port number for the HTTP service
is 8080.
Syntax
http port <port-number>
• port-number - Specifies the port to use for the HTTP service (Range: 1-65535).
Examples
The following command changes the port to use for the HTTP service to 8077:
console> http port 8077
Update complete
NOTE: Use the “apply network” command to complete the change. This may cause a system
reboot.
http redirect enable
Use the http redirect enable command to redirect all HTTP traffic to HTTPS. Use the no form of this command to disable the
redirect. HTTP redirect is disabled, by default.
Syntax
http redirect enable
no http redirect enable
Examples
The following command enables HTTP redirect:
console> http redirect enable
