user: contact
contact
Use the contact command to to optionally enter contact information for the user entry. Use the no form of this command to
clear the information.
Syntax
contact <contact >
no contact
• contact – Specifies the contact information for the entry. If spaces are required, bookend the contact information with
quotation marks (“).
Examples
The following command sets “mobile: 1-888-888-8888” as the contact information for entry “ITadmin1”:
console> user (ITadmin1)> contact “mobile: 1-888-888-8888”
Update complete
show contact
Use the show contact command to display the contact information entered for the user.
Syntax
show contact
Examples
The following command displays the user’s contact information:
console> user (ITadmin1)> show contact
mobile: 1-888-888-8888
user: description
description
Use the description command to optionally enter a description for the user entry. Use the no form of this command to clear
the description.
Syntax
description <description>
no description
• description – Specifies a description for the entry. If spaces are required, bookend the description with quotation marks (“).
Examples
The following command sets “IT Administrator, shift 1” as the description for entry “ITadmin1”:
