5. CLI Commands
device: load-group: name
name
Use the name command to modify the name of the load group entry.
Syntax
name <new-name>
new-name – Specifies a new name for the entry. If spaces are required, bookend the name with quotation marks (“).
Examples
The following command changes the entry’s name from “Load Group 1” to “LG1” on device “PDU-Rack1”:
console> device (PDU-Rack1)> load-group (Load Group 1)> name LG1

console> device (PDU-Rack1)> load-group (LG1)>
show name
Use the show name command to display the name entered for the load group entry.
Syntax
show name
Examples
The following command displays the load group’s name:
console> device (PDU-Rack1)> load-group (LG1)> show name
LG1
device: load-group: off
off
Use the off command to turn off all of the loads associated with the load group entry. This command applies only to devices
that support controllable loads. When the command is issued, a prompt will appear to confirm the action. Use the force
option to execute the action without confirmation.
Syntax
off [force]
Examples
The following command turns off all loads assigned to “Load Group 1” on device “PDU-Rack1”, with no confirmation:
console> device (PDU-Rack1)> load-group (Load Group 1)> o force
