sms: enable
enable
Use the enable command to activate the SMS entry. Use the no form of this command to disable the SMS entry.
Syntax
enable
no enable
Example
The following command disables entry “maryd”:
console> sms (maryd)> no enable
Update complete
show enable
Use the show enable command to display the enabled/disabled status of the SMS recipient entry.
Syntax
show enable
Examples
The following command shows the status of entry “maryd”:
console> sms (maryd)> show enable
disabled
sms: name
name
Use the name command to modify the name of the SMS recipient entry.
Syntax
name <new-name>
• new-name – Specifies the new name for the SMS entry.
Examples
The following command changes the entry’s name from “maryd” to “Mary Dove”:
console> sms (maryd)> name “Mary Dove”
console> sms (Mary Dove)>
