5. CLI Commands
snmp-user: username
username
Use the username command to modify the username of the SNMP user entry.
Syntax
username <username>
username – Specifies the new username of the entry. Note: the username cannot contain spaces.
Examples
The following command sets “AdminV3” as the new username for entry “snmpadmin2”:
console> snmp-user (snmpadmin2)> username AdminV3
Update complete
show username
Use the show username command to display the username entered for the SNMP user entry.
Syntax
show username
Examples
The following command displays the username entered for entry “snmpadmin2”:
console> snmp-user (snmpadmin2)> show username
AdminV3
ssh
ssh enable
Use the ssh enable command to enable the Secure Shell (SSH) service. Use the no form of this command to disable the
SSH service. The SSH service is enabled by default. Use the apply network command to complete SSH configuration.
Syntax
ssh enable
no ssh enable
Examples
The following command enables the SSH service:
console> ssh enable
Update complete
NOTE: Use the “apply network” command to complete the change. This may cause a system
reboot.
