5. CLI Commands
show sensor
Use the show sensor command to display the settings for a specific or all sensors.
Syntax
show sensor [<sensor-name>]
sensor-name – Displays details for the specified sensor.
Examples
The following command displays the settings for all sensors associated with device “PDU123”:
console> device (PDU123)> show sensor

asset-tag
Use the asset-tag command to optionally enter an asset identifier for the sensor. Use the no form of this command to clear
the entry.
Syntax
asset-tag <tag>
no asset-tag
tag – Specifies an identity for the sensor. If spaces are required, bookend the name in quotation marks (“).
Example
The following command assigns “ZQ32B” as the asset tag for sensor “E2MT1” connected to device “PDU-Rack1”:
console> device (PDU-Rack1)> sensor (E2MTD1)> asset-tag ZQ32B

Use the show asset-tag command to display the identifier entered for the device.

show asset-tag
Examples
The following command displays the asset tag for sensor “E2MT1” connected to device “PDU-Rack1”:
