trap type
Use the trap type command to identify the type or notification to use, trap or inform. The default notification type is trap.
Syntax
trap type {trap | inform}
Examples
The following command assigns Inform as the notification type for entry “SRVrcvr1”:
console> snmp-server (SRVrcvr1)> trap type inform

show trap
Use the show trap command to display the trap settings for the SNMP server.
Syntax
show trap [port | status | test | type]
Examples
The following command displays the SNMP Trap/Inform details for entry “SRVrcvr1”:
console> snmp-server (SRVrcvr1)> show trap
Trap Port : 161
Trap Status : enabled
Trap Test Result : Test successful - 3/24/2020 11:44:32 AM
Trap Type : inform
snmp-server: username
username
Use the username command to add a username for the SNMP (v3) server entry. The username must be specified prior to
enabling the entry.
Syntax
username <username>
• username – Specifies the username of the (SNMPv3) entry.
Examples
The following command sets “AdminV3” as the username for entry “SNMPrcvr1”:
console> snmp-server (SNMPrcvr1)> username AdminV3
