Troubleshooting checklist
Cannot find AT&T Mail Access on the unit.
Touch TOOLS.
Incorrect date and time on the unit.
Touch TOOLS and then touch Clock twice. Touch
ADJUST, and enter the correct date and time.
Cannot connect to the AT&T Mail service network.
Check the following:
Modem settings.
Modem connection to the unit.
Modem connection to a phone line.
AT&T Mail settings.
AT&T Mail phone number.
Phone number prefix (if you are dialing from a location
that needs additional numbers to access an outside
line).
Login script.
Memory is full.
Delete data from the main memory (such as Docu-
ments, Notes, Contacts, Data Files, or old messages)
to free up memory.
Unable to send messages.
The AT&T Mail message was rejected. Check the
recipient list to ensure that the addresses are valid.
