14 CHECK SHIELD CIRCUIT
1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Remove joint connector-1.
3. Check the following.
쐌 Continuity between joint connector-1 terminal 1 and ground
쐌 Joint connector-1
(Refer to “HARNESS LAYOUT”, EL-245.)
Continuity should exist.
4. Also check harness for short to power.
5. Then reconnect joint connector.
OK or NG
OK 䊳 GO TO 15.
NG 䊳 Repair open circuit or short to power in harness or connectors.
15 CHECK INTERMITTENT INCIDENT
Perform “TROUBLE DIAGNOSIS FOR INTERMITTENT INCIDENT”, EC-142.
䊳 INSPECTION END
