NOTE:
. If the warning message is displayed, you
should refill the AdBlue® tank completely
at the first opportunity.
. Adding small quantities of AdBlue® may
be insufficient to clear all warnings from
the display.
. Failing to refill AdBlue® fluid when the
warning message is displayed will ulti-
mately lead to a situation in which the
engine can no longer be restarted.
Should this occur, refill the AdBlue® tank
completely. Warning message(s) on the
vehicle information display will warn you
in order to avoid this situation.
. Driving conditions (trailer towing, driving
style, etc.) influence the AdBlue® con-
sumption.
For information on refilling the AdBlue® tank,
see “AdBlue® filler cap” (P.3-33) and “AdBlue®
tank (if equipped for diesel engine model)” (P.8-
18).

The AdBlue® warning light will also flash
continuously and a chime will sound.
This warning appears when the AdBlue® tank is
almost empty. Refill the AdBlue® tank as soon
as possible.
NOTE:
. If this warning appears while the engine
is running, the vehicle can still be driven
to the nearest NISSAN dealer.
. If the ignition switch is placed in the “OFF”
position (the engine is stopped) for more
than 3 minutes after this warning is
shown, engine re-start will not be possi-
ble until AdBlue® tank is refilled. Contact a
NISSAN dealer or roadside assistance if
necessary.
After the AdBlue® tank is refilled with the
ignition switch in the “OFF” position, place the
ignition switch in the “ON” position and check
that the warning has turned off. Then, start the
engine.

When the “AdBlue fault” warning appears, the
AdBlue® warning light
and/or Malfunction
Indicator Light (MIL) may also illuminate de-
pending on conditions.
The “AdBlue fault” warnings can also be
checked in the “AdBlue Status” option of the
"Maintenance" from the "Settings" menu in the
vehicle information display. See “Maintenance”
(P.2-26).
Condition A
WAF0441X
This warning appears if there is a malfunction
in the AdBlue® SCR system. The message will be
displayed each time the engine is started when
there is estimated to be between 850 and 800
km (530 and 500 miles) left before inspecting
and/or repairing the AdBlue® SCR system. The
message can be cleared from the display until
the next time the engine is started.
Have the system checked by a NISSAN dealer as
soon as possible.
