Choose an effect level.
Turn the [ ] dial to choose an effect
level.
A preview is shown of how your shot will
look with the effect applied.

Shooting with a Soft Focus Effect

This function allows you to shoot images as if a soft focus lter were
attached to the camera. You can adjust the effect level as desired.

Choose [ ].
Follow steps 1 – 2 in “Image Effects
(Creative Filters)” (=
58) and choose
[ ].

Choose an effect level.
Turn the [ ] dial to choose an effect
level.
A preview is shown of how your shot will
look with the effect applied.

Shoot.
Try taking some test shots rst to make sure you obtain the
desired results.

Add a variety of effects to images when shooting.

Enter [ ] mode.
Set the mode dial to [ ].

Choose a shooting mode.
Press the [ ] button, choose [ ] in the
menu, and then choose a shooting mode

32).

Shoot.
You can also choose a shooting mode by touching [ ] in the
upper left after you set the mode dial to [
