Settings
Accounts & sync
All of the accounts you add in your phone are displayed allowing you to
view and manage them. You can also create new accounts for Amazon,
Email, Google, and Microsoft Exchange. Tap an account to view its
information and settings specific to that type of account. For example, tap
Google
and its settings are:
Auto-sync data
: Checkmark to automatically sync the data.
ACCOUNTS
: Displays your Google Account(s).
PRIVACY
Search
: Allows you to manage your search settings including turning
on Google Now, your phone search settings, your voice search
settings, your accounts and privacy settings, and access to help &
feedback.
Location
: Provides access to your Location services mode switch .
Also displays Recent location requests and Location services.
Google+
: Displays your Google+ settings.
Ads
: Displays your advertizing ID, advertizing ID reset, Opt out
checkbox, and information about Google ads in apps on your device.
Add account
: Allows you to add accounts.
Guest mode
Use Guest mode when you let someone else use your phone. They’ll only be
able to use the apps that you’ve selected. Once you set it up, you can easily
put your phone in Guest mode by drawing a specified guest pattern on the
Lock screen that you set, which is different from your normal pattern. Tap the
Guest mode switch
to toggle it On or Off.
Set pattern
: Tap to create the pattern you will use to access Guest
mode.
Set apps
: Tap to select the apps available in Guest mode.
Help
: Displays information regarding Guest mode.
