Functions Available with Disc Navigation
Disc Navigation allows you to do the following:
Deletion of scenes __ You can delete unnecessary scenes. 101
Editing of scenes _ You can attach fade and skip to a scene, 103 - 107
combine scenes, or divide one scene.
Scene information __ Youcaedisplayinformationononescene 112
display or multiple scenes, such as image quality,
recording time, etc.
Setting of title _ You can set desired titles to play lists and 114, 122
programs.
Creation of play list _ You can create an original movie by 116
changing the combination of scenes.
Disc or card initialization __ You can initialize a DVD-RAM disc or card 125
so that it can be used on this DVD Video
Camera.
Copy from disc to card _ You can copy photos recorded on DVD- 108
RAM disc to card.
Disc finalization _ You can use this DVD Video Camera to 127
finalize any DVD-R disc recorded on it so
that the disc can be viewed on DVD
player, etc.
Repeat play _ You can repeatedly play back programs 128
and scenes.
Slide show _ You can play back stills continuously. 129
Remaining capacity __ The remaining recordable movie time or 124
number of recordable stills is displayed.
Disc protection _ You can protect the DVD-RAM disc to 124
prevent deletion or editing by mistake.
Scene lock _ You can lock any scene so that it will not 109
be deleted by mistake: Essential scenes
are thereby protected, and recording
mother still is possible.
DPOF setting _ You can set print information. 110
Note:
Editing functions (thumbnail, skip, fade) are unique to this DVD Video Camera. When a disc edited on this DVD Video
Camera is directly played back on a DVD-RAM recorder or read into PC, the editing results wilt not be reflected in the
playback or reading. To reflect the editing results, connect both devices using the AV/S input/output cable and then perform
recording (dubbing).
