Compensating Camera Shake
Available in the following modes:
This function automatically detects and compensates camera shake.
> [Rec]/ [Motion Picture] > [Stabilizer]

([Normal])
Corrects vertical and horizontal camera shake.
[]
([Panning])
Corrects vertical camera shake. This setting is ideal for
panning (technique of recording a subject by matching the
camera movement with the movement of a subject going in
a specific direction).
[OFF] [Stabilizer] does not work.
To prevent camera shake
When the camera shake alert [ ] appears, use [Stabilizer], a tripod or the self-timer.
• The shutter speed will be slower particularly in the following cases. Keep the camera still from
the moment the shutter button is pressed until the picture appears on the screen.
We recommend using a tripod.
