wlan.auth_type
type: getvar;setvar
This parameter selects the authentication service to be used between the printer and the Access Point.
Open System and Shared Key are the two types of authentication services.
getvar result Current authentication type.
Example
Description This command instructs the printer to retrieve the current
authentication type
Syntax ! U1 getvar “wlan.auth_type”
Result “open”
setvar choices
“open”, “shared”
Default “open”
Example
Description This command instructs the printer to set the authentication type
to Shared Key
Syntax ! U1 setvar “wlan.auth_type” “shared”
Result The authentication type will be set to Shared Key after power
cycle
