Troubleshooting Guide
Using ash in [
f
] or [
d
] mode lowers the shutter speed.
●Under [
z
2: External Speedlite control], set [Slow synchro] to
[1/200-1/60sec. auto] or [1/200 sec. (xed)] (p.181).
The ash does not re.
●Make sure the ash is securely attached to the camera.
The ash always res at full output.
●Flash units other than EL/EX series Speedlites used in autoash
mode always re at full output (p.178).
●When the ash Custom Function setting for [Flash metering
mode] is set to [TTL] (autoash), the ash will always re at full
output (p.187).
Flash exposure compensation cannot be set.
●I
f ash exposure compensation is already set with the Speedlite,
ash exposure compensation cannot be set with the camera. When
the external Speedlite’s ash exposure compensation is canceled (set
to 0), ash exposure compensation can be set with the camera.
