Troubleshooting Guide
Using ash in [
f
] or [
d
] mode lowers the shutter speed.
Under [
z
2: External Speedlite control], set [Slow synchro] to
[1/200-1/60sec. auto] or [1/200 sec. (xed)] (p.181).
The ash does not re.
Make sure the ash is securely attached to the camera.
The ash always res at full output.
Flash units other than EL/EX series Speedlites used in autoash
mode always re at full output (p.178).
When the ash Custom Function setting for [Flash metering
mode] is set to [TTL] (autoash), the ash will always re at full
output (p.187).
Flash exposure compensation cannot be set.
I
f ash exposure compensation is already set with the Speedlite,
ash exposure compensation cannot be set with the camera. When
the external Speedlite’s ash exposure compensation is canceled (set
to 0), ash exposure compensation can be set with the camera.
