Selecting the Drive Mode
o
Approx. 8.0 shots/sec. is the maximum <
o
> high-speed continuous
shooting speed (p.144) under these conditions: shooting with a
fully charged battery in One-Shot AF mode at a 1/1000 sec. or faster
shutter speed and maximum aperture (depending on the lens*), at
room temperature (23°C / 73°F), with icker reduction, Dual Pixel RAW
shooting, and Silent shutter disabled.
* In One-Shot AF mode with Image Stabilizer o when using these
lenses: EF300mm f/4L IS USM, EF28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM, EF75-
300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM, EF100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS USM.
o
The continuous shooting speed for <
o
> high-speed continuous
shooting may be lower, depending on conditions such as these: battery
level, temperature, icker reduction, Dual Pixel RAW shooting, silent LV
shooting, silent shooting, shutter speed, aperture, subject conditions,
brightness, AF operation, type of lens, use of ash, and shooting
settings.
o
With Servo AF, the maximum continuous shooting speed may become
slower depending on subject conditions or the lens used. Setting [
z
6:
Silent LV shoot.] to [Disable] when Servo AF is set also lowers the
maximum continuous shooting speed.
o
With [
z
6: Anti-icker shoot.] set to [Enable] (p.115), shooting under
ickering light will decrease the maximum continuous shooting speed.
Also, the continuous shooting interval may become irregular and the
release time lag may become longer.
o
The maximum continuous shooting speed may drop to approx. 6.0
shots/sec. when a cold battery is used in cold environments, or when the
battery level is low.
o
Even with low-speed continuous shooting, the continuous shooting
speed may become slower depending on the shooting conditions.
o
When internal memory becomes full during continuous shooting, the
continuous shooting speed may drop o because shooting will be
temporarily disabled (p.77).
