Connection method 4: Connecting to a Wi-Fi network using an iPhone/iPad/iPod touch
Note that the speaker should be initialized to the factory default for this connection. All
BLUETOOTH device registration (pairing) information is deleted.
The speaker can be connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the iPhone/iPad/iPod touch,
if the iPhone/iPad/iPod touch is iOS 8 or later. The Wi-Fi settings of the speaker is made
by the iPhone/iPad/iPod touch.
Do the following before starting.
Disconnect the LAN cable (not supplied) from the speaker.
Place the speaker near the wireless router and the iPhone/iPad/iPod touch.
Set the Wi-Fi antenna on the rear to the upright position.
Make sure that the iPhone/iPad/iPod touch is updated to iOS 8 or later.
1. Connect a iPhone/iPad/iPod touch to the wireless router.
Connect it to 2.4 GHz band (11b, 11g, and 11n) or 5 GHz band (11a and 11n). The
speaker is not compatible with IEEE 802.11ac.
