Problems with Active Docking Station (Optional) 15
If you experience any problems that you cannot resolve, please contact the reseller where the product was
purchased.
Problems with Linerless Platen Kit (Optional) 15
Problem Solution
The charge indicator turned off, but the battery
has not fully charged.
Charging stopped because the battery became too hot or too cold.
Please wait and try charging the battery later.
The charge indicator flashes red. An error occurred during charging.
Wipe the docking station terminals of the docking station and
the battery with a dry cloth.
Replace the battery with a new one.
Wait and try charging the battery later.
The printer does not turn on when placed it on the
docking station.
Set the printer on the docking station correctly.
Check the AC adapter is correctly connected.
Reconnect the AC adapter.
The printer does not print via a USB cable. Set the printer on the docking station correctly.
Connect a USB cable correctly.
If USB cables are connected to the printer and the docking
station simultaneously, disconnect the one connected to the
printer, turn off the printer and turn on again.
(RJ-4250WB only) Select the correct driver in the Devices and
Printers. If the docking station is connected, your operating
system will also display a copy of the printer driver icon (for
example: Brother RJ-4250WB (Copy 1)) in the Devices and
Printers. Make sure it is not selected.
Problem Solution
The print quality is poor. Install the Linerless Platen Upgrade correctly.
Clean the printing head.
The printer does not feed paper. Install the Linerless Platen Upgrade correctly.
Set the roll correctly.
Check if a label or adhesive is attached the inside of the cover.
If so, clean the inside of the cover.
