USING THE TABLET
Workshop Tools
DPF RESET (Chrysler)
1. Select Diesel Particulate Filter Reset in the Workshop Tools screen, then press OK.
n A “One moment please…” message displays, followed by the Diesel Particulate Filter Reset
menu.
2. Select the desired option, then press OK.
n An “instructional” screen displays. Prepare the vehicle for test as directed.
3. Choose Yes to continue.
n A series of “status” screens display while the routine is in process.
n A “conrmation” screen displays when the routine is completed.
NOTE: If the routine does not complete successfully, an “advisory” message display.
Choose Close to return to the Diesel Particulate Filter Reset menu.
4. Choose Finish to return to the Diesel Particulate Filter Reset menu, then choose
Back to return to the
Workshop Tools screen.
DPF RESET (General Motors)
1. Select Diesel Particulate Filter Reset in the Workshop Tools screen, then press OK.
n A “One moment please…” message displays, followed by the Diesel Particulate Filter Reset
menu.
2. Select the desired option, then press OK.
n One or more “informational/instructional” screens displays.
3. Choose Next, as appropriate, to scroll to the next screen.
n For some vehicles, a “conrmation” screen display.
4. Select Reset, as appropriate.
n A “conrmation” or “results” screen displays when the routine is completed.
NOTE: If the routine does not complete successfully, an “advisory” message may
display. Choose End to return to the Diesel Particulate Filter Reset menu.
5. Choose Exit to return to the Diesel Particulate Filter Reset menu, then choose
Back to return to the Workshop
Tools.

1. Select Diesel Particulate Filter Reset in the Workshop Tools screen, then press OK.
n An “instructional” screen displays. Prepare the vehicle for test as directed.
2. Choose Next to continue.
n A “status” screen displays while the routine is in process.
