USING THE TABLET
OEM Diagnostics
1. Select PWM Output Test in the Active Test Menu, then press OK.
n An “instructional” screen displays. Prepare the vehicle for test as directed:
Turn the ignition on. DO NOT start the engine.
Place the transmission in PARK.
Verify the Ready Light is OFF.
2. Select Continue to proceed.
n The Control PWM Output screen displays.
3. Select On to stop inverter current. Select Off to return to normal mode.
n The display refreshes to show the test results. Repeat as desired.
4. Press
Back to return to the Active Test Menu.
Cooling Fan Test
The Cooling Fan functions let you control operation of the battery cooling fan motor.
1. Select Cooling Fan Hi, Cooling Fan Mid, Cooling Fan Lo or Cooling Fan Stop in the Active Test Menu, as
desired, then press OK.
n An “instructional” screen displays. Prepare the vehicle for test as directed:
Place the transmission in NEUTRAL.
Verify the Ready Light is ON.
2. Select Continue to proceed.
n The Control Cooling Fan screen displays.
3. Select On to turn the cooling fan On. Select Off to turn the cooling fan off. It may take from 3 to 10 seconds
for cooling fan speed to change.
n The display refreshes to show the results. Repeat as desired.
4. Select
Back to return to the Active Test Menu.
OFF Ave Cg Relay Test
The OFF Ave Cg Relay function lets you activate and deactivate the THS charger adapter relay.
1. Select OFF Ave Cg Relay in the Active Test Menu, then press OK.
n An “instructional” screen displays. Prepare the vehicle for test as directed:
Place the transmission in NEUTRAL.
Verify the Ready Light is ON.
2. Select Continue to proceed.
n The Control Relay screen displays.
