a certain limit. The Operational Status field shows whether the short reach operational
status is active or inactive. The Reason field shows the reason for the operational status.
7. Use the EEE Admin Mode menu to enable or disable this option on the port.
With the EEE mode enabled, the port transitions to low power mode during a link idle
condition. The default value is Disable.
8. Click the Apply button.
The updated configuration is sent to the switch. Configuration changes take effect
immediately.
9. To refresh the page, click the Update button.
10. To clear the configuration, resetting all statistics for the selected interface to default values,
click the Clear button.

View Green Ethernet Remote Device Details
To view green Ethernet remote device information:
1. Connect your computer to the same network as the switch.
You can use a WiFi or wired connection to connect your computer to the network, or
connect directly to a switch that is off-network using an Ethernet cable.
2. Launch a web browser.
3. In the address field of your web browser, enter the IP address of the switch.
If you do not know the IP address of the switch, see Change the Default IP Address of the
Switch on page 10.
The login window opens.
4. Enter the switch’s password in the Password field.
The default password is password.
The System Information page displays.

Field Description
Tw_sys_tx (uSec) Integer that indicates the value of Tw_sys that the local system can
support.
Tw_sys_tx Echo (uSec) Integer that indicates the remote system’s Transmit Tw_sys that was
used by the local system to compute the Tw_sys that is requested from
the remote system.
Tw_sys_rx (uSec) Integer that indicates the value of Tw_sys that the local system
requests from the remote system.
Tw_sys_rx Echo (uSec) Integer that indicates the remote system’s Receive Tw_sys that is used
by the local system to compute the Tw_sys that it can support.
