Change the Aging-Out Period of Dynamic MAC Addresses
You can change the aging-out period after which a learned MAC address entry that is not
updated is automatically removed from the forwarding database. By default, this period is 300
seconds. The forwarding database contains static entries, which never age out, and
dynamically learned entries, which are removed if they are not updated before the aging-out
period expires.

You can use a WiFi or wired connection to connect your computer to the network, or
connect directly to a switch that is off-network using an Ethernet cable.
