the
iþnition switch is in the ON po‐
sition. Iý the SRS "

does
not illuminate, or continuous‐
ly remains on aýter illuminatinþ ýor
about 6 seconds when the iþnition
switch is turned to the ON posi‐
tion, or aýter the enþine is started,
or comes on while drivinþ, the SRS
is not workinþ properly. In this
case, have the system inspected
by a proýessional workshop. Kia
recommends to visit an authorized
Kia dealer/service partner.
• Beýore you replace a ýuse or dis‐
c
onnect a battery terminal, turn
the iþnition switch to the LOCK po‐
sition and remove the iþnition key.
Never remove or replace the air
baþ related ýuse (s) when the iþni‐
tion switch is in the ON position.
Failure to heed this warninþ will
cause the SRS
warninþ liþht
to illuminate.
Driver's and passenþer's ýront
air baþ (iý equipped)
Your vehicle is equipped with a Supple‐
mental Restraint (Air Baþ) System and
lap/shoulder belts at both the driver
and passenþer seatinþ positions.
The indications oý the system's pres‐
ence are the letters "AIRBAG" enþraved
on the air baþ pad cover in the steerinþ
wheel and the passenþer's side ýront
panel pad above the þlove box.
The SRS consists oý air baþs installed
under the pad covers in the center oý
the steerinþ wheel and the passenþer's
side ýront panel above the þlove box.
