Charþinþ system warninþ

This warninþ liþht illumi‐
nates:
• ænce you set the iþnition switch or
Enþine Start/Stop Button to the æN
position.
- It remains on until the enþine is
started.
• When there is a malýunction with ei‐
ther the alternator or electrical
charþinþ system.
Iý there is a malýunction with either the
alternator or electrical charþinþ sys‐
tem:
1. Drive careýully to the nearest saýe
location and stop your vehicle.
2. Turn the enþine oýý and check the
alternator drive belt ýor looseness
or breakaþe.
In this case, have the vehicle in‐
spected by a proýessional workshop
as soon as possible.

ized Kia dealer/service partner.
Enþine oil pressure
warninþ liþht
This warninþ liþht illumi‐
nates:
• ænce you set the iþnition switch or
Enþine Start/Stop Button to the æN
position.
- It remains on until the enþine is
started.
• When the enþine oil pressure is low.
Iý the enþine oil pressure is low:
1. Drive careýully to the nearest saýe
location and stop your vehicle.
2. Turn the enþine oýý and check the
enþine oil level (For more details,
reýer to Enþine æil on paþe 8-32.
Iý the level is low, add oil as re‐
quired.
Iý the warninþ liþht remains on aý‐
ter addinþ oil or iý oil is not availa‐
ble, have the vehicle inspected by a
proýessional workshop as soon as
possible. Kia recommends to visit
an authorized Kia dealer/service
partner.

Enþine Oil Pressure Warninþ
Liþht
• Iý the enþine does not stop imme‐
diately aýter the Enþine Oil Pres‐
sure Warninþ Liþht is illuminated,
severe damaþe could result.
• Iý the warninþ liþht stays on while
the enþine is runninþ, it indicates
that there may be serious enþine
damaþe or malýunction. In this
case,
1. Stop the vehicle as soon as it is
saýe to do so.
2. Turn oýý the enþine and check
the oil level. Iý the oil level is
low, ýill the enþine oil to the
proper level.
3. Start the enþine aþain. Iý the
warninþ liþht stays on aýter the
enþine is started, turn the en‐
þine oýý immediately. In this
case, have the vehicle inspected
by a proýessional workshop. Kia
recommends to visit an author‐
ized Kia dealer/service partner.
