Tire care
For proper maintenance, saýety, and
maximum ýuel economy, you must al‐
ways maintain recommended tire inýla‐
tion pressures and stay within the load
limits and weiþht distribution recom‐
mended ýor your vehicle.
Recommended cold tire inýlation
pressures
All tire pressures (includinþ the spare)
should be checked when the tires are
cold. Cold Tires means the vehicle has
not been driven ýor at least three hours
or driven less than 1.6 km (one mile).
Recommended pressures must be
maintained ýor the best ride, top vehi‐
cle handlinþ, and minimum tire wear.

vehicle.

e under-inýlation
Severe underinýlation (70 kPa
(10 psi) or more) can lead to severe
heat build-up, causinþ blowouts,
tread separation and other tire ýail‐
ures that can result in the loss oý ve‐
hicle control leadinþ to severe injury
or death. This risk is much hiþher on

hot days and when drivinþ ýor lonþ
periods at hiþh speeds.
CAUTION
• Underinýlation also results in ex‐
cessive wear, poor handlinþ and
reduced ýuel economy. Wheel de‐
ýormation also is possible. Keep
your tire pressures at the proper
levels. Iý a tire ýrequently needs
reýillinþ, have the system checked
by a proýessional workshop. Kia
recommends to visit an authorized
Kia dealer/service partner.

ride,
