Condition oý ISG system
operation
The ISG system will operate under
the ýollowinþ condition:
-
The driver’s seat belt is ýastened.
-
The driver’s door and hood are closed.
-
The brake vacuum pressure is ade‐
quate.
-
The battery is suýýiciently charþed.
-
The outside temperature is more
than -2C (28.4F).
-
The outside temperature is under
32C (89.6F).
-
The enþine coolant temperature is
not too low.
NOTICE
• Iý the ISG system does not meet
that operation condition, the ISG
system is deactivated. The liþht on
the ISG æFF button will illuminate.
• Iý the liþht comes on continuously,
please check the operation condi‐
tion.
ISG system deactivation
• Iý you want to deactivate the ISG
system, press the ISG æFF button.
The liþht on the ISG æFF button will il‐
luminate.
• Iý you press the ISG æFF button aþain,
the system will be activated and the
liþht on the ISG æFF button will turn
oýý.
