active application using the |, z or
% application buttons (/ page 321).

when the vehicle is stationary for safety rea‐
sons.

Android Auto starts automatically when the
mobile phone is connected with the system
using a cable. If Android Auto was not dis‐
played in the foreground before disconnect‐
ing, the application starts in the background
when reconnected. You can call up Android

To end the connection of Android Auto
(with cable): disconnect the connection via
the connecting cable between the mobile
phone and multimedia system.
