Sequence views and multiple servers: When connected to more than one AXIS Camera Station Server, cameras from other
servers can be used in the sequence view. The sequence view is saved on the server selected in the main window. To add a
camera from another server, select the server from the server drop-down list under Camera.
Create a Map
A map is an imported image on which camera views, split views, sequences, web pages and other maps can be placed. The map gives
a visual overview and makes it easy to quickly locate and access individual cameras. To open a camera or view from a map, click on
the corresponding icon. Action buttons from Event Conguration can also be used with maps.
To create a map, follow these steps:
1. In the Live View or Recordings workspace, click
.
2. Select New Map.
3. Enter a name for the map.
4. Click Import Map and browse to locate the le.
5. Drag views from the tabs Cameras and Views and drop them on the map. It is also possible to double-click views in
the Cameras and Views tabs to add them to the map.
6. When satised, click OK to create the map.

Create a Web Page View
External web applications can be integrated into AXIS Camera Station by creating a web page view. Web pages can, for example,
be shown in a split or a sequence together with live video.
To create a web page view, follow these steps:
1. In the Live View or Recordings workspace, click

2. Select New Web Page.
3. Enter a name for the web page.
4. Enter the Internet address in the Url eld.
Note
Web pages cannot contain other views.
Create a folder
Folders are used to categorize items in a tree view structure, see Cameras and Views on page 14.
You can drag and drop the following items to a folder: split views, sequences, camera views, maps, web pages and other folders.
To create a folder, follow these steps:
1. In the Live View or Recordings workspace, click

2. Select New Folder.
