Message What to do
Adjustment canceled. There is a problem
with the print head nozzles. For details,
see documentation.
Clogs are not cleared even by repeatedly alternating nozzle checks and Print
Head Cleaning.
After leaving the printer alone and not printing for more than 12 hours, execute
a nozzle check and Print Head Cleaning again. We recommend turning off the
power and leaving the printer alone. If the situation does not improve, execute
Powerful Cleaning.
If the clogs are not cleared even after executing Powerful Cleaning, then after
not printing for more than 12 hours, print a nozzle check pattern. If that does
not clear the clogs, execute Power Ink Flushing.
If the situation is still not improved, then repairs are needed.
Contact your dealer or Epson Support.
It is nearly time to reset the ink level. The ink is low. Fill the ink tank with ink.
Be sure to update the ink levels after refilling the ink.

The Maintenance Box is nearing the end
of its service life. You can continue
printing until replacement is required.
There is little available space in the maintenance box. Obtain a new
maintenance box. You can continue printing until the replacement notice
appears.
U “Consumables and Optional Items” on page 135
Cannot recognize the Maintenance Box. Reinstall the maintenance box. If the same error occurs even after reinstalling
the maintenance box, then replace it with a new one (do not install a faulty
maintenance box).
U “Replacing the Maintenance Box” on page 53
Cannot start cleaning because the
Maintenance Box is near full.
Cleaning cannot be executed because there is not enough available space in
the maintenance box for the waste ink that is ejected during print head
cleaning. To execute cleaning, replace the maintenance box with a new one.
The maintenance box that was removed can be reinstalled and used again after
cleaning is complete.

Printing speed is slow because the
printers internal temperature is too high.
For details, see your documentation.
Printing can continue even though the print speed is reduced. To recover the
print speed, pull out the interior of the printer and open the inner cover and
leave like that for 15 to 30 minutes. Leave the printers power on while it is
standing by.
See the following for more details on the solution.
U “Print speed suddenly slows down while printing continuously” on
page 134
Some features may not be available.
For details, see your documentation.
If Paper Setup Auto Display is disabled, you cannot use AirPrint.
The combination of IP address and
subnet mask is incorrect. For details, see
your documentation.
Input the correct value in the IP address or the default gateway.
If you do not know the correct value, check with your network administrator.
