Chapter 9 Network Connection — Using P2 Cast
Using P2 Cast
r P2 Cast
By using P2 Cast, the status of the camera operating in the remote area can be conrmed and the RTMP streaming can be remotely operated.

t A contract is required to use P2 Cast. For details, consult your dealer.
t Some of the functions of P2 Cast cannot be used with this camera.
t There are some functions that cannot be used depending on the P2 Cast server being used.
Procedure for using
For details, refer to the P2 Cast documents.

Login to P2 Cast, and download the profile.

Decompress the downloaded file.

Save the decompressed PRIVATE folder in the root directory of the SDXC memory card.

Perform the setting of the camera as follows.
f Select the [NETWORK] menu [STREAMING] [START TRIGGER] [CAMERA].
f Insert a SDXC memory card into the card slot 1, and load the prole into the camera with one of the following.
1) Select the [NETWORK] menu [STREAMING] [CONNECTION INFO.] [MEMORY], and load the content of SD with the [NETWORK]
menu [STREAMING] [LOAD (SD CARD)].
2) Select the [NETWORK] menu [STREAMING] [CONNECTION INFO.] [SD CARD].

Perform each operation with P2 Cast.
Streaming from P2 Cast
f Remote operation of the RTMP streaming is not possible when the menu or the thumbnail screen is displayed on the camera.
f Once the operation to start streaming from P2 Cast or setting of the destination URL is performed, the destination URL is recorded inside the camera.
Streaming to the same destination can be performed with the operation from the camera after that. (page 185)
f The recorded destination URL cannot be viewed on the camera.
f The recorded destination URL information is also cleared when the destination information is cleared.
For details on clearing the destination information, refer to “Clearing the destination information” (page 186).
